Mothusi is the CEO and Co-Founder of Strategic Projects Capital. As CEO, he directs and executes the company's national strategy, oversees investments, fund management and contributes to capital formation. As a Co-Founder, he has played a critical role in formation of the Company's financial and operational infrastructure.
Prior to forming Strategic Projects Capital, Mothusi spent over 20 years as a principal architect, program manager and construction professional. His prior consulting work covered a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial work in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, and Massachusetts. This background has helped him understand nuances of real estate from the broad market issues to specific issues within the real estate value chain. His goal is to harness and leverage the vertical integration of services within the real estate realm to deliver a seamless creation of value to investors.
Mothusi is an aspiring public speaker and has addressed prestigious family-office events organized by DC Finance at the World Trade Center. He is also an advocate for creating buildings that improve the quality of end-users. Mothusi has served two terms as a member of ACHAP Inc. board of directors. ACHAP was formed as a three-way partnership of The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck and the government of Botswana to combat the HIV pandemic.
Mothusi holds a Master of Science in Building Construction degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, a NAAB-Accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University. Mothusi is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, the American Institute of Architects and has life-term membership in several honorary associations.
